It’s always good to see Australian designer’s names up in lights internationally. And you couldn’t get much brighter in the United States fashion industry than on the cover of ‘Women’s Wear Daily’, a much respected fashion trade publication, which brother-and-sister fashion act Camilla and Marc Freeman fronted this week.

Camilla and Marc’s cover story appeared in Tuesday’s edition of Women’s Wear Daily, known by the industry as “the bible of fashion”, about up and coming labels in the United States. Other designers have correlated their first appearing in ‘Women’s Wear Daily’ as the turning point in their rise to global fame, we hope it symbolizes the same for popular siblings Camilla & Marc. (That they appear in the US edition of Harper’s Bazaar and have signed with Net-a-porter will surely not hurt one little bit either!)

Yes, it certainly seems to be their year. Camilla & Marc have also been given opening act at the Rosemont Australian Fashion Week, which begins Monday 30^th April. No doubt a ticket to the show will be even more in demand. We’ll keep you posted as to the styles that walk down the catwalk, all eyes will certainly be on them.
