Sass and Bide fashion designers Sarah-Jane Clarke and Heidi Middleton bared all last night on ABC-TV's Australian Story, bringing to light all the trials and tribulations they have been through together, particularly over the last year.
The pair spoke openly about coping with Heidi's breast cancer, which she was diagnosed with just one day after giving birth to her second daughter in 2007.
This beautiful documentary highlights the strength of their friendship and partnership, which is so wonderfully reflected in their designs. It also shows some fantastic footage of the Sass and Bide label, from when it was first launched right up to their last collection which was shown in New York just two weeks ago.
A must watch for anyone who has followed this label and appreciates the heights Sass and Bide have taken Australian fashion to. This episode of Australian Story will air again tonight on ABC2 at 8pm and also will be repeated on ABC-TV on Saturday 23rd February at 12:30pm.
