What's What celebrity stylist Fifi Milne appeared on Channel Seven's The Morning Show today to take viewers through her top ten tips to easily make your look as fabulous as possible.
Tip 1: Keep your silhouette balanced. This means if you have a full skirt wear a top that is fitted and similarly if wearing a baggy tops you need to pair with narrow pencil skirts or slimline pants.
Tip 2: Keep to three colours on the body. Wearing more than three colours at once is too tricky to pull off.
Tip 3: Table top dressing is wise - this means you keep the focus on the upper half of your body (from the table top up). Don't wear bright floral trousers or anything that focuses on your legs, instead select basic black pants and skirts then add interest with colourful and printed tops and jackets.
Tip 4: High waisted skirts and pants are flattering. They tuck the tummy in and give the illusion of long legs (yes please!) Hipsters give most of us short legs and long bodies which is probably not the ratio you are looking for.
Tip 5: A waist cinching belt will give you shape and the illusion you are curvy
Tip 6: Stick to knee length skirts. This is the most flattering length as it is where the leg is at it's slimmest point.
Tip 7: Forget the rules of colour. Navy and black teamed together is chic!
Tip 8: Use bags and shoes to add colour. And don't worry about matching your shoe and bags together colourwise, this is no longer necessary. Plus if you do opt for a black shoe, look for texture to up the interest (e.g. shine or suede)
Tip 9: Keep the focus on one piece of jewellery. You don't want your pieces fighting for attention: so just one necklace or statement earrings or lots of bangles, but not all...the eye gets confused and you'll look over done!
Tip 10: White next to the face takes 10 years off! Wear a white Tee or a white shirt to look younger.

One week ago Australia lost fashion designer and entrepreneur Mark Keighery to a decade long battle with cancer. What’s What would like to pay tribute to this generous and vibrant man of vision, who made such an impact on the Australian fashion industry, and who will be greatly missed.
Mark started the MARCS label out of one store in Chatswood 1980 after realising there was a lack of both well made and colourful shirts in Australia for the male and female markets. The label proved extremely popular with it quickly growing to it's current fourteen store locations as well as being available in the majority of Myer and David Jones locations nationally.
In addition to creating the MARCS label, Mark was the first to import brands including Diesel Helmut Lang, Issey Miyake, Yoji, Pucci, Dries Van Noten, Erto, Malandrino and Juicy Couture into Australia. Diesel was the label he was most involved with, helping to wholesale the brand after originally meeting Renzo Rosso (the founder of Diesel) while waiting for a taxi in Paris and exchanging business cards.
Mark was a devoted husband and father of two lovely sons. His funeral is to be held in Rose Bay tomorrow.
After sixteen months, Westfield Geelong opens its doors today to a completed $200 million redevelopment.
One of the highlights is the improved fashion offering including Sportscraft, Glassons, Rodney Clark, plus new youth retailers Hype DC, Glue, Edge Clothing and Mossimo, to name a few. The exciting new fashion precincts that are part of the redevelopment have been highly anticipated by local shoppers, who will no longer have to travel to Melbourne to access these popular fashion labels.
Another popular spot at Westfield Geelong is sure to be the Bridge over Yarra Street with it's expansive view of the waterfront, anchored by the Bridgeroom (a fully licensed cafe) and the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf.

While owning the latest fashion releases is one thing, knowing that they were produced in the best and most ethical environment is also an extremely important factor. After all, everyone wants to be sure that their purchase is the grand finale in an all-positive chain of events.
So it’s wonderful to learn that the Cue Clothing Co. – who produce both Cue and Veronika Maine - is taking the matter of producing their fashion as seriously as they do designing their sleek and chic creations in the first instance. A newsletter has just been sent out by Rod Levis, Founder and Owner of the Cue Clothing Co. to advise that not only are they fully Australian owned, but their designs are also predominantly Australian made.
The benefit is both the knowledge that Australian workers have been given employment opportunities and the garments have been manufactured in the best conditions. Also, as the newsletter explains “This enables a product reflecting the most recent international trends to be delivered to your nearest Cue or Myer store as quickly as possible. This is the big advantage of local manufacture even though it is a more expensive option.”
What’s What feels it is important that the Cue Clothing Co., who are celebrating their 40th year in the industry, is commended and supported on their strong stand to ensure that the highest of standards are upheld for both Cue and Veronika Maine, which as a result helps to set the highest levels for the Australian fashion industry as a whole.
Undoubtedly you'll feel even more special when wearing Cue and Veronika Maine with this wisdom under your 'fashion belt' too.
