Westfield London A Huge Hit On Opening Day
Westfield London looks impressive at night with it's glass rolling shape roof

After five years of construction, 10,000 construction workers and 13 million man hours, Westfield London opened the doors of it's super chic £1.7 billion development in the heart of London yesterday.

Westfield London, with more than 280 speciality retailers (40 of which being luxury brands housed within The Village), five anchor stores and 47 places to eat at four different locations is one of Europe's biggest urban shopping malls.

Over 80 per cent of the retailers are fashion specialists who will fill six zones of fashion speciality including luxury, aspirational, urban chic, streetwear, kids and high street. The Village is anchored by Louis Vuitton and features a host of labels including Gucci, Tiffany & Co and De Beers.

Westfield London opened yesterday at 10:30am by Westfield's Mr Frank Lowy and Mayor of London Boris Johnson, and drew huge numbers of customers and journalists.

If you are soon travelling to London and want to learn more about this exciting new centre head to the Westfield London site.
